The move to ban all the old 500 and 1000 rupee notes is clearly having positive effects, even while it has created considerable hardships for many people. It has been reported that the violence in Kashmir has suddenly stopped? And why?

The Kashmiri separatists, who have been funded by Pakistan, have suddenly found themselves without cash to pay the unemployed and uneducated kids they have been using to cause trouble. They pay Rs1000 for stealing and throwing a grenade, Rs500 for stealing rifles, Rs100 for throwing stones at the soldiers, etc. But without cash, they can’t do much. A lot amount of the money they used was counterfeit and smuggled in from Pakistan. So now the separatists and their funders are at a loss, which is a very good thing indeed. No doubt, troublemakers in other parts of the country are facing a similar situation, which is a very good thing.
