I recently hiked up to a waterfall with some friends, one of whom immediately ran into it and stood there for several minutes. It looked really blissful, so I decided to join her. Next time you visit a suitable waterfall, do try it. This one was only about 25′ high. Although the pressure was quite strong, it wasn’t too much, and it wasn’t dangerous. Rather like a really good massage. Anyway, I loved it and plan on doing it again and again and again whenever I have the opportunity. My Japanese friend informed me that this is a spiritual practice of monks in Japan. I can see why. I rather think it would be a good cure for depression.
